Angela Caporiccio is a passionate Dancer, Educator and Choreographer who has taught and performed through out Canada, USA and Europe.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University, Angela traveled to New York City to continue her studies as a gradate student at New York University (NYU). During her studies at NYU, Angela joined the Kaleidoscope Dance Company where she performed and taught for many inner city elementary school students in New York City. Angela also became a member of New York University’s Experimental Music and Dance Company and traveled abroad to perform in Genoa Italy.
Upon graduation from NYU, Angela then joined the José Limón Professional Studies Program (PSP) and was immersed in the technique and legacy of José Limón. During this time Angela was invited to dance as a guest with José Limón Dance Company to re-vamp some of José Limón’s original works.
Following her enlightening and inspiring experience in New York City, Angela Caporiccio returned home to Canada and to York University to complete her Bachelors of Education Degree. Upon graduation from the Faculty of Education, Angela founded the Regional Arts Dance Program at Iona Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga Ontario.
Throughout this time Angela has also been a guest speaker and presenter at many conferences such as the 2005 National Dance Educators Organization (N.D.E.O) in New York, 2012 Healthy Dancer Canada annual Toronto conference and the 2013 Blueberry Dance Festival in Michigan.
Angela continues to grow the Iona Catholic Secondary School Regional Arts Dance Program alongside Diana Mandarello, but continues to perform and choreograph throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Most recently Angela has had the honor of joining the LR Productions creative team as one of the lead choreographers and looks forward to continue to grow talent in Canada!

Diana Mandarello
Diana Mandarello is a creative and enthusiastic Educator and Dancer who has danced competitively and performed for over 10 years across Canada and the USA.
Diana completed her Undergraduate Degree in English and Dance at York University. During this time, she studied dance and dance in society with some of Canada’s leading dance educators. She was also a part of The Alexander Singers and Players’ Company and danced in two professional shows “The Gondoliers” and “The Most Happy Fella”. She has also had the opportunity to learn from great teachers and choreographers such as Roberto Campanella, Andrea Viola, Nadia Veselova Tencer and more!
Diana Mandarello was also a competitive figure skater who competed Nationally Internationally with Gold Ice Synchronized Skating team. She placed 2nd overall in Canada for two consecutive years at the Canadian National Championships. She also had the privilege of representing Canada in Sweden, Prague and at the Junior Worlds Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland placing 4th in the world. During this time, Diana continued to dance to assist her flexibility, poise and strength on and off the ice.
Diana then went on to complete her Bachelors of Education Degree at York University. She knew that she wanted to share her love for dance and use her past experiences to teach and inspire students who share the same passions. During her practicum experience she choreographed, assisted backstage as stage-manager, and taught elements of dance to elementary school students.
Presently, Diana has the honour and privilege of teaching at Iona Catholic Secondary School as one of the dance teachers in the Regional Arts Dance Program with Angela Caporiccio. Together they share the love and passion for dance and utilize their collective talents to maximize the learning experience, where students can become well-rounded dancers, artists, and individuals. Iona Dance is a very special place, where dancers feel a part of a family and are able to collaborate and be creative in an encouraging environment.
